(949.1) THESSALY, Koinon of Thessaly. Domitian, with Domitia. AD 81-96. Æ Diassarion (21mm, 6.51 g, 7h). ΔOMITIANON KAIΣAPA ΘEΣΣA-ΛOI, laureate head of Domitian right / ΔOMITIA ΣEBAΣΣTHN, draped bust of Domitia right. Burrer Em. 1, Series 1, 3 (A2/R2); RPC 279 (same dies as illustration). Near VF, olive green patina with some dark red. An unusual and quite attractive portrait of Domitia.

ΔOMITIANON KAI[CAPA ΘECAΛO-I], laureate head of Domitian right; star before neck / ΔOMITIA CEBACTH, draped bust of Domitia right. Burrer Em. 2, Series 1, 75.2 (A23/R57 – this coin); RPC 282. Good Fine, green patina.
